Description
As a Global Category Manager you will,
- Lead the development and execution of the global procurement strategy for aftermarket parts
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal terms.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
- Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
Profile
A successful Global Category Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing sector, ideally aerospace
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A deep understanding of global procurement processes and strategy.
- Track record of leading high performing teams
- The ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of supply chain risk management.
