Head of Operations & Supply Chain | E-commerce Online Retailer | In-house Manufacturing Facility | Derby | £75kZachary Daniels are excited to be once again partnering with a high growth retail d2c e-commerce brand who are currently going through a huge transformation since acquiring a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must have manufacturing experience and ideally worked within a retail setting. You will be overseeing and optimising the end-to-end supply chain operation on site. Applicants must be hands on and be able to operate in an entrepreneurial environment. Exposure to working internationally is desirable as they have operations in Europe.

Please note that this role is initially on site 5 days per week.

The role as Head of Operations & Supply Chain:

• Negotiate optimal terms to meet business objectives related to financials, technical specifications, corporate social responsibility, innovation, brand positioning, and customer expectations.
• Drive Supply Chain optimization, providing a holistic view to enhance reliability while reducing inventory, storage, and transport costs.
• Manage both inbound and outbound freight logistics to ensure effective partnerships and modes of transport are utilised, emphasising value and efficiency.
• Lead the team in managing customer relationships and expectations across all supply chain activities, including logistics, material availability, planning, and delivery service levels.
• Maintain robust Inventory Control programs, fostering a culture of accountability, process clarity, and performance measurement.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven Supply Chain experience and working within a manufacturing operation
• Previous experience with on-demand production
• A strong leader with infectious enthusiasm who inspires and motivates
• Hands on management style
