Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Derby/Hybrid
Salary & Package: £45,000 - £50,000 + bonus + free train travel + additional benefits
Sea Global are proud to be partnering with an exciting Transport business in the heart of the midlands that is in an exciting period of growth. They are currently looking to recruit two procurement professionals to join their busy procurement function.
One role will have a real focus across indirect areas, such as Catering, FM, Cleaning, Security, Staff Uniforms, Marketing and Professional Services, whilst the other will have a real focus across their IT and technology spend, including software, hardware, infrastructure, digital etc.
The role reports in the Senior Category Manager for each category, and they are looking for keen professionals who have experience with end-to-end category management and running tender processes.

Role & Responsibilities
- Report into and work very closely with the Senior Category Manager
- End to end category management, including leading tenders, sourcing and supplier management
- Develop and implement strategic category strategies across the designated categories
- Create contractual agreements with supplies ensuring they are fit for purpose and deliver commerciality to the business
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, advising on best practice for obtaining best value for money
Experience & Requirements
- Experience within the indirect and IT categories would be highly valuable for this role
- Ideally you will need to have experience working within a regulated environment and will have exposure to Utilities Contract Regulations (UCR) or Public Contract Regulations (PCR) but this is not essential
- Experience within end-to-end procurement or category management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent supplier management skills
