They’re on the search for a Supply Chain Commercial Lead to join their team to work remotely. As part of this role, you will oversee and manage the supply chain from pre-wholesaler through to wholesalers, ensuring consistent and efficient delivery of products.
Ideal Requirements for a Supply Chain Commercial Lead
- Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management, commercial strategy or sales.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution channels, including wholesalers, pre-wholesalers, and pharmacies
- Experience with margin analysis, pricing strategy, and identifying commercial opportunities for growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Role Responsibilities for a Supply Chain Commercial Lead
- Develop and manage demand forecasting models to predict future stock requirements based on historical data, sales trends, and market insights.
- Regularly assess product demand and adjust supply strategies accordingly to avoid stockouts and maximise product availability.
- Secure open (non-branded) prescriptions and work closely with healthcare providers and pharmacies to promote their non-branded product lines.
