SF Recruitment are working with a client in Derby to recruit for a Supply Chain Coordinator.

Full time , Office based, Derbyshire, Long Term Temporary Role.

Salary £30,000-£35,000 dependent on experience.

Are you a detail-oriented and organised professional with a passion for supply chain management? We are looking for the right candidate to play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through their supply network.

You will work closely with suppliers , internal teams and logistic partners to ensure timely delivery of materials while optimising costs and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure on-time delivery of goods and materials

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking

  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and other supply chain documentation

  • Track and report key supply chain performance metrics

  • Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain activities with business needs

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings

Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and supply chain software

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
