A level 3 engineering qualification is the minimum requirement as well as a background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Electrically biased skillset would be preferable, however, they may consider someone more mechanical if they have a background in food manufacturing.
Working a days only shift pattern, you are expected to keep the plant and equipment in safe working order and to meet the site operational needs. Responsible for carrying out PPM work in accordance to the schedule and reacting to elec/mech breakdowns.
