ML35 - Commercial operativeLocation: DerbySalary: £14.00 an hourOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Commercial operative on behalf of one our clients.They offer expertly managed cleaning services tailored to businesses of all sizes, covering a wide range of industries and commercial cleaning needs. Their services include one-time and regular cleaning for:
- Air duct
- Windows
- Carpets and floors
- Industrial cleaning
With experience working with major companies across the commercial sector, they have a proven track record of maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, even on the largest scales.Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel but all applications will be considered. Duties and Responsibilities:
- The work varies from day to day, the candidates will always meet new people and new areas to visit in the UK.
- You will learn to use various cleaning machines from carpet cleaning to a Sky vac sys .
- Duct cleaning, window cleaning, kitchen cleaning & office cleaning etc.
- Full training will be provided to the applicant.
- We provide a company van with a fuel card to be used in the day-to-day business works.
- You will also have your work provided on an app sys for the week ahead.
- You will learn to use cleaning products through COSH and to use RAMS on our works we carry out.
- No one job will be the same , some jobs can run for 7 days to one month.
- The job can be at times very demanding and have a high work level with clients, so you need to be able to adapt with different clients .
- We are a small family business with a great opportunity for progress with the business ,via training to.
- Be able to excel with in the company and bring benefit to the business.

- Attention to Detail- Different types of cleaning tasks (e.g., duct, window, kitchen, office cleaning) require attention to detail to ensure a thorough and professional result.
- The work involves using an app system to manage tasks, which may include a variety of jobs with differing deadlines. Good organisational skills and time management will help you stay on top of the workload.
- Teamwork and Collaboration- Working within a family business, being able to collaborate effectively with colleagues is important. Helping others and contributing to the team’s success will be key.
- Strong Work Ethic- The role is described as demanding, with high client expectations and varying workloads. A strong work ethic, including reliability, punctuality, and perseverance, will help in meeting these challenges.
