Job Title: Transport Planner
Location: Derby Foston, DE65
Pay Rate: £25.000 P/A
Working Hours: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday to Friday.
Contract: Temporary to Ongoing
Were looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our team in Derby
Foston, DE65 on a temporary to ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise multi-drop deliveries.
- Use Transport Management Systems (TMS) to manage routes.
- Support the smooth running of daily transport operations.
- Monitor driver schedules and ensure all deliveries are on time.
- Work with drivers and warehouse teams to solve any issues that come up.
- Keep transport records up to date and create reports when needed.
- Communicate with customers to keep them informed about deliveries.
- Help with assigning vehicles and drivers for the best routes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Transport Planning is essential.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries and Transport Management Systems (TMS) is required.
- Own transport is necessary due to the location.
