- My Derby based client is seeking a motivated HGV Mechanic to join their expanding fleet mechanic teams.
- This role involves servicing, MOT preparation, and repairs of HGVs to ensure they remain safe and reliable on the road.
- Candidates should possess a Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualification, with HGV licence and diagnostic experience being advantageous.
- The position requires routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, and the completion of necessary paperwork.
- The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, with previous experience in a similar role being required.

What you'll be doing;
You will be responsible for the day to day service, MOT preparation and repairs of our HGV's.
You will keep our HGV's safely on the road
Responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.
Repair and maintain the Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
Ensure that all necessary paperwork, and time sheets are completed accurately.
Attend roadside breakdowns when required.
Required for this HGV Mechanic role:
Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
HGV licence is an advantage
Diagnostic experience
