We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with both hand and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements on various vehicle components.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all service requests.

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
A relevant qualification in automotive engineering or mechanics is advantageous but not essential.
