Job Role: Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Derby, Derbyshire
Salary: £30,(Apply online only)-£50,(Apply online only) per annum
Hours: 8:00-17:30 Monday-Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00-13:00
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Duties:

To carry out maintenance, service and repair on an array of class 4 & 7 motors vehicles.
Clutches changes, gearbox replacements, wheel alignment, engine fault finding and repair alongside general motor works
To work closely with fellow mechanics and site members to ensure time frames for repairs are communicated clearly alongside quoting customers effectively.
Attend company training and development where necessary
To work alone and as part of a team

Requirements:

Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic working on class 4/7 vehicles for a minimum of 3 years
Relevant qualifications (Motor Vehicle repair & maintenance etc NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds) would be advantageous but NOT essential
Team player and open for growth & development
Ability to carry out vehicle diagnostics
