Health & Social Care Teacher
  • Hourly Rate: £25 - £32 (including holiday pay)

  • Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (3 days per week)

We are seeking a Health & Social Care Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis, starting in the week commencing 10th March, with the possibility of extension beyond Easter. The role involves teaching Level 2 Health & Social Care, ideally to candidates with experience delivering this BTEC. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach Level 2 BTEC Health & Social Care.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet curriculum standards.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and experiences for students.
  • Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe and tidy environment that is conducive to learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in teaching Health & Social Care, ideally at BTEC Level 2.
  • Relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving classroom situations.
