Join our team at the Roundhouse Campus in Derby as a Motor Vehicle Lecturer. This temporary position offers the opportunity to impart knowledge and skills to students at Level 1, preparing them for careers in the motor vehicle industry.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to Level 1 motor vehicle students.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through both practical and theoretical assessments.
- Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Offer guidance and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to improve course content and teaching methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a teaching qualification.
- Relevant qualifications in motor vehicle engineering or a related field.
- Experience in teaching at Level 1 or similar levels.
- DBS check on the update service is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
