Reed Further Education is currently seeking a dedicated Plumbing Tutor for a reputable college in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about the plumbing sector and eager to contribute to the development of apprentices.

Role Overview:The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for delivering educational content and assessing apprentices, focusing on Level 3 plumbing courses.  While a teaching qualification is not essential, significant experience in assessing apprentices is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative sessions to plumbing apprentices.
  • Assess and evaluate apprentices' progress and competencies.
  • Prepare and adapt teaching materials as needed.
  • Ensure all apprentices are meeting the learning outcomes effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering and assessing Level 3 plumbing courses.
  • Strong understanding of the latest industry practices and standards.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time schedule from April to the end of the academic year.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
