We are recruiting for a conversant Water Treatment Service Chemist in the Midlands region. Applicants must be able to confidently use a test kit on site to undertake testing and analysis across process water systems. You will be joining a national player, who specialise in Water Treatment and can offer fantastic further training opportunities for the right candidate. The role will involve daily interaction with clients, as such, applicants must be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner and provide comprehensive technical advice. Experience / Qualifications:
- Applicants must have experience working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist
- Ideally, you will hold a BSc, preferably chemistry / environmental centric
- Can demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, including ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Working knowledge of technical / process water systems, including: steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems
- Strong written and IT skills
- Good client-facing experience and manner
The Role:
- You will be attending a range of client sites to carry out routine testing and analysis across steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems
- Undertaking closed system analysis
- Flushing of LPHW systems
- Overseeing key client accounts, being a key point of contact for any technical or logistical issues
- Upselling of services to an existing client base
- Identifying potential business leads to generate further revenue
- Adhering to agreed KPIs and SLAs
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Writing detailed reports to outline findings and recommendations to clients
- Travelling as per company requirements
