Location: Derby (DE24)Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:30Salary: £15 - £16 per hour + overtime at enhanced ratesContract Type: PermanentAbout the RoleWe are recruiting for a skilled MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator to join a railway engineering company in Derby. This permanent, full-time role offers immediate starts, working on train component maintenance and manufacturing.You will be responsible for repairing damaged railway components, fabricating from scratch, and working with steel and aluminium in a range of thicknesses. The role may occasionally require working away, with expenses covered and a company van provided for travel.Key Responsibilities* MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminium (1mm - 12mm, occasional 50mm).* Fabrication from scratch based on technical specifications.* Repairing damaged train components to a high standard.* Position welding in various positions as required.* Occasional off-site work with expenses paid.About You* Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding.* Ability to fabricate from scratch using technical drawings.* Positional welding skills are essential.* Driving licence is an advantage but not essential.What's in It for You?* Competitive pay: £15 - £16 per hour.* Overtime at enhanced rates (1.5x pay).* Immediate start available.* Permanent, full-time employment in a growing industry.Ready to Apply?If you have the skills and experience for this role, apply today!
