We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join an established manufacturing team at an impressive facility in Derby. With a history spanning over 70 years, the company is a leader in providing solutions for the power generation, petrochemical, energy, water, pharmaceutical, and food industries. Due to the award of new projects and a healthy order book, they are expanding their welding team with a suitably experienced TIG Welder.
Day to day of the role:
- Perform high-quality TIG welding based on engineering drawings.
- Precision welding with various materials, including stainless steel.
- Work on larger welding projects as well as bespoke, one-off specials.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure project quality.
- Conduct initial quality checks on your work to maintain high standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience of TIG welding in a similar shop floor environment.
- Ability to work with and weld a variety of materials, including stainless steel.
- Competency in working from engineering drawings.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Strong health and safety awareness.

Working hours are from 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07:00 to 15:00 on Friday, with opportunities for overtime during the week and at weekends.
Please Note: With this being a permanent role, you will need to ALREADY be within a reasonable and sustainable commute of Derby without having to relocate - No Exceptions
