  • The position offers a salary of £35,000 to £45,000, along with benefits including 23-25 days of annual leave, private medical insurance, and a contributory pension scheme.

Exciting opportunity for an Agricultural and Bloodstock Accountant to join an expanding team within a well established firm of chartered accountants. Option of being based from Cambridge, Norwich or Peterborough along with hybrid working.

Your Role:

  • Accounts preparation assignments, including tax computations
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and VAT returns
  • Prepare personal and partnership self-assessment tax returns
  • Resolve client queries with minimal input from seniors
  • Review team members' work and provide feedback
  • Coach juniors and help improve their performance

Experience Required:

  • AAT/ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified
  • Experience in accountancy practice
  • Knowledge of VAT
  • Agriculture or bloodstock sector experience (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Farmplan, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks Online
