The Role

As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, managing a finance team of three, and reporting directly to the CFO. Key duties include managing accounting operations, ensuring timely financial reporting, cash flow management, and supporting the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. You will also work closely with other departments to drive cost efficiencies and profitability enhancements, contributing to the company's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AR, AP, general ledger)
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and publish monthly financial statements
  • Support budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements:

  • Recognised accountancy qualification
  • At least two years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong Excel skills (Xero experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities
