Your new companyHays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with an expanding organisation based in Long Stratton who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to work 20 hours a week, which will be 4 hours a day, ie; school hours.

Your new roleIn this newly created Part-time Credit Control job you will take full responsibility for managing the end-to-end credit function of the business from setting up new accounts, agreeing credit limits and collection, as well as producing aged debtor reports.

The role will involve working with a wide range of national organisations and local businesses, managing all sales ledger processing and collection of outstanding invoices and resolving invoice issues to improve the smooth process of payment. Any experience of pro forma invoice processing would be an advantage but not essential.What you'll need to succeedYou will have proven credit control experience and be confident in the collection of outstanding debt as well as resolve invoice issues. As explained, the customer database will range from SME's and local businesses to large national organisations which may require a different approach to collection, but the principles are the same: they need to pay for goods purchased.
