  • Salary Range: £31,617 - £35,682

About the Role:

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in delivering independent assurance regarding the effectiveness of risk management, governance, and internal control processes for Consortium clients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is exploring new technologies, including AI and data analytics, to enhance audit methodologies.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the full range of internal audit responsibilities, from planning to execution.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Internal Audit to ensure annual audit plans are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards.
  • Engaging with external providers and officers to facilitate seamless audit processes.
  • Developing your internal audit knowledge through coaching and mentoring while tackling complex audits.
  • Assisting in audit planning activities and preparing Audit Committee reports.
  • Supporting the development and supervision of a new Internal Auditor, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A Certified Internal Auditor (or currently studying for CIA certification).
  • Experienced in managing audits from start to finish.
  • Skilled in engaging with diverse teams and adapting your approach to various situations.
  • An analytical thinker with strong research abilities.
  • An active listener who takes ownership of tasks and contributes innovative ideas.
