Job Title: Service Manager (Automotive)

Location: Fakenham/Attleborough

OTE: £45k + Car

Job Purpose:Our client, a well-established automotive business, seeks a dedicated Service Manager to lead their Service and Parts departments. The role is integral in ensuring volume and profit targets are met while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and team motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee workshop operations, efficiently allocating and progressing repairs.
  • Deliver excellent customer service in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Maintain organised and professional service, parts, and reception areas.
  • Ensure accurate and complete estimates, smooth workflow, and compliance with company processes.
  • Manage stock inventory, invoicing, and customer payments.
  • Maximise upselling opportunities by providing expert advice.
  • Ensure all health checks, warranties, and service plans are handled as per company standards.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the Service team to meet high performance standards.
  • Oversee training and support for staff, including apprentices, in collaboration with HR.
  • Manage departmental budgets, pricing strategies, and cost controls.
  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and ensure resolutions align with company policies.
