Voids Manager Norfolk6 Month Temporary Contract £675p.dHybridOur client is seeking a motivated and experienced Voids Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality void refurbishment programs. This is a pivotal leadership role, focusing on ensuring all void properties are refurbished to a high standard while maintaining operational efficiency, value for money, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the voids service, ensuring all properties meet required standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective turnaround of void properties.
  • Provide leadership and support to the DLO Voids Team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor void trends using data insights and analysis to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee financial planning and management of allocated budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and embed a proactive safety culture across the service.
  • Resolve complaints and disputes effectively, maintaining high standards of service delivery and customer care.
  • Utilise performance data to meet and exceed targets, embedding value for money and equality principles.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in managing voids, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and best practices in voids and repairs management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including team development and performance management.
  • Financial acumen with experience in managing and monitoring budgets.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic plans.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience fostering compliance within teams.
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Relevant professional accreditation (e.g., CIOB, RICS) preferred.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or similar qualification in health and safety.
  • Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle insured for business use.
