Day to Day of the role:

  • Prepare learning materials and facilitate classroom activities tailored to individual student needs.
  • Support the emotional and physical well-being of pupils, fostering their development and engagement with the world.
  • Adapt to various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors, to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Take on challenges and grow professionally within a supportive environment, utilizing the collective skills and experience of the team.
  • Provide hands-on assistance and supervision, ensuring pupils have the freedom to explore in a safe and supervised setting.
  • Engage in professional development, including the possibility of completing a Level 2 course during your induction period.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A responsive and caring approach to supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of educational settings.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Willingness to administer medication.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and young people.
