This role will see the successful candidate travel to sites and the workshop to perform a range of mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs. Reporting through an electronic system, the right candidate will demonstrate a sharp understanding of engines and generators. Strong interpersonal skills are essential in this client facing role.

The Role:

  • Conduct vessel mechanical / electrical audits and advise on rectification works required
  • Complete equipment servicing in line with manufactures and company requirements
  • Fault diagnosis and repair, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, plumbing and heating systems including experience with 12/24 and 240 volt systems
  • Be on call once per fortnight - advise vessel master's on technical issues and attend where required
  • Workshop work is based in Egmere, where the successful candidate will complete repairs and maintenance on various mechanical and electrical components

The Person:

  • Proven experience within a similar marine role
  • Full UK drivers licence
