Atkinson Moss are delighted to be working with a leading business in Norfolk. The role will business partner department heads to enable change, enable more accurate forecasting and oversee consolidation reporting. As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights to help with sustainable growth.

You will act as a strategic advisor to key stakeholders across the organisation, providing financial insights and analysis to drive decision-making and support business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with department heads and senior leaders to understand business priorities, identify growth opportunities, and manage financial risks.

Provide financial expertise to support decision-making, project evaluations, and long-term strategic planning.

Prepare, analyse, and present monthly financial reports, including revenue, expenditure, and variance analysis.

Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.

Monitor financial performance against targets, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.

Offer actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Lead the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.

Support stakeholders in managing budgets, understanding variances, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Review and enhance financial processes and systems to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Act as a trusted advisor to non-financial teams, translating complex financial data into clear insights.

Build strong relationships across the business to ensure alignment and shared accountability for financial outcomes.

Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering their growth and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Proven experience in a finance business partnering role or similar

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, or other analytics tools).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

Experience with process improvement and driving efficiency in finance operations is an advantage.
