NXTGEN are pleased to be working with unique business based near Norwich who are looking for a Credit Control Manager to lead a well-established team from the front. My client, a dynamic and forward-thinking business, is seeking a skilled Credit Control Manager to lead their credit control function and drive the continued success of this function. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a growing organisation with a supportive and collaborative culture.

As Credit Control Manager, you will take ownership of the credit control process, ensuring the effective collection of outstanding debts while maintaining strong relationships with customers, directors and stakeholders. You'll play a key role in driving improvements to processes, minimising aged debt, and supporting the wider finance team. This is a role that requires someone with excellent people management skills and someone who is adaptable in this area to suit the individual needs of the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end credit control process, including debt collection and payment allocation.
  • Monitoring aged debt and producing regular reports for senior management.
  • Leading and developing a team of credit controllers, providing training and guidance.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to resolve payment issues efficiently.
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing businesses
  • Reviewing and improving credit policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Conducting credit checks and assessing the risk of new and existing customers.
  • Working closely with the finance team to support month-end processes and reporting.
