AJ Chambers is excited to be collaborating with a prestigious Top 200 UK law firm in Cambridge to find a talented Family Lawyer.

In this role, you will be joining a highly regarded team specializing in high-value and complex family matters, offering a wealth of high-quality work and ample opportunities to showcase your expertise. This is a hybrid position with a blend of in-office (Norfolk) and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for managing a diverse and complex caseload of client matters without supervision.
  • Contribute to achieving the firm's fee targets while mentoring and supporting the development of junior team members.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on divorce law, children’s issues, financial matters, and domestic violence.
  • Advise on cohabitation and premarital agreements.
  • Draft necessary legal documents to support advice given.
  • Ensure efficient and timely credit management practices are followed.
  • Lead negotiations and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Prepare consent orders and agreements for family law matters.
  • Represent clients at appropriate court hearings.
  • Lead and motivate team members, ensuring clarity of goals and objectives.
