This is a key hire for the business, in which you will be responsible for both solving breakdowns and preventative maintenance on their processing and packaging machinery.Key Responsibilities:* Conduct preventative maintenance and perform timely repairs.* Support production and packing departments consistently.* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.* Follow HSE protocols, including Permit to Work and Risk Assessments.* Ensure safety by always adhering to lock-off procedures.* Respond quickly to breakdowns and take necessary actions.* Complete general maintenance tasks such as lubrication and schedule adherence.* Undertake small projects and modifications as required.Requirements:* A Level 3 equivalent qualification Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, such as an NVQ/HNC/ONC or City and Guilds etc* Previous experience within the food industry* Knowledge of 17th Edition I.E.E. regulations* PLC Fault finding skills, to I/O Level* A positive, proactive attitude* Ability to read, understand, and work with schematic drawings * Welding experience (MIG/TIG/ARC)* Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plusThis position functions on a 2-week rotation, as follows:* Week 1 - Monday to Friday 05.00 - 15.00* Week 2 - Monday to Friday 16.00 - 02.00* One Saturday in four 06.00 - 12.00With various benefits and a great package in place, this is a great opportunity for a well-established Maintenance Engineer.
