Administration Assistant

Job Type: Part time (3 days per week)

Location: Dereham (Outskirts)

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000

Reed are delighted to be working with a fantastic business just outside of Dereham who are seeking an Administration Assistant with a passion for excellent and a keen eye for detail to join their team. You will be organised, confident, and motivated, with a strong desire to support others and work efficiently.

This role is working just outside of Dereham for a family-run business dedicated to supporting their employees through their journey.

This is a part time role working 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Support the teams with their workloads, including using portals to obtain documentation.
  • Prepare customer packs, request customer documents, and support with enquiries.
  • Follow up with customers, assisting them with their enquiries.
  • Conduct checks on each query to ensure all information is obtained and addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and posting.
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers.
  • Collate data across various systems for analysis purposes, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Participate in regular training, one-to-ones, team meetings, and celebrate successes, while addressing areas for improvement.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and confidence using the telephone.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Adaptability to system and process changes.
  • Reliability and a genuine desire to help others.
