They’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who will be capable of delivering highly robust and thoroughly tested mechanical design solutions as well as leading development on new projects. The Role: + Design and develop products for harsh environments+ Create product concepts and visuals+ Develop tools, set up prototypes, and oversee initial trials+ Prepare product specifications and support documentation+ Enhance processes and support engineering best practices+ Resolve design and testing challenges Requirements: + Experienced in designing enclosures/electro-mechanical/optical products + Hands-on experience managing end-to-end product development+ 3D CAD design - Solidworks + Design for high volume manufacture + Produce manufacturing drawings+ Practical experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting+ Knowledge of materials and technologies

The salary will be between £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available.
