Are you a Trainee Marine Engineer looking to join a company that offers excellent internal and external training paired with pay and role progression?

This role will see the suitable candidate receive a mixture of training off the back of existing experience, learning and gaining hands on experience with electrical propulsion systems. The right candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in this customer facing role.

The Role:

  • Actively participate in a range of inhouse and external training, as well as shadowing experienced Engineers
  • Conduct vessel mechanical / electrical audits and advise on rectification works when required
  • Complete equipment servicing in line with manufactures and company requirements
  • Fault diagnosis and repair, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, plumbing and heating systems including experience with 12/24 and 240 volt systems
  • Be on call once per fortnight - advise vessel master's on technical issues and attend where required
  • Workshop base din Egmere, where the successful candidate will complete repairs and maintenance on various mechanical and electrical components

The Person:

  • Experience within a marine role
  • Full UK drivers licence
