Primary Supply Teacher
Heacham, Hunstanton & Snettisham
£140 - £150 a day
Randstad is looking for a dedicated supply teacher, who believes in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, to work on a day to day basis in various primary schools in and around the Heacham, Hunstaton and Snettisham areas. These local schools are dedicated to delivering high-quality education and support across diverse classroom settings, quickly adapting to meet the unique needs of each student while fostering their growth and well-being.
Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
- Ensuring you arrive punctually at the school you have been booked into
- Adhering to relevant school policies whilst covering that school
- Passing on relevant information promptly and effectively within the school
- Adhering to the set cover work and encouraging pupils to engage and complete said work
- Providing a calm and productive learning environment for the pupils
- Dealing with any issues that might arise in a prompt and professional manner
Requirements of a Supply Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
- Experience with behaviours that are challenging
- A calm & caring personality
- A strong and resilient personality and be committed to pupils development
- Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
