Primary Supply Teacher

Watton

£140 - £160 a day

Randstad is looking for a dedicated supply teacher, who believes in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, to work on a day to day basis in various primary schools in and around Watton and the surrounding villages. These local schools are dedicated to delivering high-quality education and support across diverse classroom settings, quickly adapting to meet the unique needs of each student while fostering their growth and well-being.

Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:

  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff.
  • Deliver engaging lessons and support student learning.
  • Create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Handle any challenges with professionalism and promptness.

Requirements of a Supply Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
  • Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
  • Experience with behaviours that are challenging
  • A calm & caring personality
  • A strong and resilient personality and be committed to pupils development
  • Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
