The company:
You will be joining a Uk leading Manufacturing company based in Norfolk! Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking a Product Manager within their sensors department to help take the company to the next level.
This will be a varied role, with occasional travel to their Midlands-based site and customer sites. The role will involve applying your technical knowledge within sensor technology to improve and enhance the company's product's performance. If you are someone with a wide range of technical knowledge within the sensor industry, this role is for you!!
Job responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis, identifying current and future needs, enabling the company to improve their products
- Management of product lifecycle and development
- Develop, own, and communicate detailed technical roadmaps for the product portfolio, with a strong focus on product robustness, software reliability, and sensor performance.
- Work closely with wider engineering teams to align product roadmaps, giving detailed evidence.
- Support Finance and Project Management in defining and reporting key KPIs for product performance, including business cases, product line P&L, and ROI.
This is just a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and tasks will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience within a similar role, with sensor experience
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and integrate new technology ideas and opportunities
- Preferably a degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Have a collaborative mindset, being able to work with the wider teams.
- Proficient in interpreting and communicating financial and accounting information from a product perspective, with an understanding of the financial impact of decisions.
