What You Will Bring To The Table
- Lead and manage operations across multiple sectors: luxury retail, builders' merchants, and supermarkets.
- Develop and execute the group’s operational strategy, aligning with business goals while preserving family values and heritage.
- Provide strategic direction in supply chain, inventory, logistics, and customer experience.
- Drive operational performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimisation.
- Maintain high operational standards and quality across all business units.
- Ensure smooth integration of operations while preserving brand identity and customer expectations.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
- Proven experience in operational leadership in retail, luxury goods, or related sectors.
- Strong background in managing diverse operational functions and teams across multiple units.
- In-depth knowledge of high-end luxury retail and fashion, with a focus on premium service standards.
- Strong financial acumen for managing budgets and resources.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Knowledge of UK retail regulations, health, safety, and compliance.
- Experience in family-owned business culture is highly desirable.
