Two exciting opportunities are available for a Housing Support Worker in a charitable organization based in Norfolk.
The position is temporary for 2 to 3 months, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £15.35 per hour via an Umbrella Company.
Candidates must have previous experience supporting vulnerable individuals in a support setting and a full UK Driving Licence with access to a car.
Daily responsibilities include promoting independence among homeless clients, delivering emotional support, and completing support plans and risk assessments.
An Enhanced DBS from within the last three years or the willingness to obtain one is also required for applicants.

Two exciting opportunities has arisen within a well-established charitable organisation based in Norfolk for a dynamic Housing Support Worker to join the team in providing person led support to clients living in supported accommodation.

Type: 2 – 3 months temporaryLocation: Based in DissHours: 37.5 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday; 9am – 5pmRate of Pay: £15.35 per hour via an Umbrella Company PAYE

Daily duties:

Working with a caseload of homeless clients to promote their independence whilst staying in supported accommodation
Deliver emotional and life skills-based support, assisting service users with day to day tasks
Complete support plans and risk assessments with the service users
Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears
Offer specialist knowledge and insight into rent arrears helping tenants with budgeting
Carry out regular estate inspections
Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements
Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies

Essential requirements:

An Enhanced DBS from within the last three years or the willingness to obtain one
Previous experience supporting vulnerable people in a support setting
A full UK Driving Licence with access to a car
