Our client is a leading, global, well-established provider of electronics and electrical systems design production across a variety of industries including aerospace and automotive. Their products feature on a number of the world's fastest and most prestigious road cars.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test both high and low-level software routines for embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets technical specifications and project timelines.
  • Write clean, efficient code following company coding standards.
  • Update technical documentation throughout the design and development process.
  • Continuously improve and innovate embedded software updates.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in embedded C programming.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and writing both high-level functions and low-level drivers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in software/electronics engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Microchip ATSAM and PIC32 processors (preferred but not essential).
  • Hands-on experience in electronics hardware design or development is a plus.
  • Previous work in automotive or motorsports industries is an advantage.

Hours of work

  • Monday - Thursday 8-15.am-5.15pn and Friday 8.15am-12.30pm
  • 37.5 hours per week
