Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an Internal Salesperson for a highly successful independent supplie r of construction products based in the East Norfolk area.

Salary: £26,915 - £28,500 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm (no weekend work required)

Key responsibilities of the Internal Salesperson:

  • Deliver new business sales and existing account development
  • Forge strong working relationships with all key accounts and manage their expectations around product availability and delivery schedules
  • Engage with the external sales, warehouse, and credit control teams
  • Efficiently deal with telephone and email enquiries and orders
  • Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary
  • Handle any customer issues and queries

The preferred candidate would display the following:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • A proactive approach to sales
  • Team player attitude
  • Be a confident and self-driven individual
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong customer service
  • Previous experience in a Sales-focused role
  • IT literacy
  • Ability to communicate with a range of customers and colleagues, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships

Knowledge of construction products would be preferable, but not essential.
