4myschools have a vacancy for an Tutor's/Unqualified Supply Teachers jobs in Dereham to provide general cover to schools in Norfolk. In this role you will supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. This post's main task is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain productive with the work they have been set.
Responsibilities for the Tutor Job Dereham:- Have some experience working in schools, ideally in a mixture of key stages and subjects.
- Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
- Be flexible and reliable to take on last minute bookings
- Competent to manage your own diary, with a mixture of pre-booked supply days and morning calls
- Prepare for every day to be entirely different to the last.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or relevant teaching qualification (highly advantageous).
- Passion for education and a genuine interest in contributing to students development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in diverse teaching environments.
- Enhanced DBS
