Group Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Financial Controller to lead and innovate within our finance team. This is a key leadership position with direct influence on the company's financial strategy and performance. Collaborating closely with the CFO, CEO, Group MD, and the Executive Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring robust financial governance, accuracy, and efficiency across all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a global finance team, including Finance Managers and Accounting Managers.
  • Develop and implement financial governance policies and maintain accounting standards.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors for tax submissions and coordinate global audits.
  • Ensure accurate monthly group consolidations and reporting.
  • Own and review global balance sheet reconciliations, including debtors and creditors.
  • Lead deferred revenue calculations, global overhead reporting, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor expense control and ensure supplier payments align with budget constraints.
  • Implement and execute transfer pricing policies.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Head to enhance business forecasting and mitigate risks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of senior-level accounting experience, preferably in a global, multi-entity business.
  • ACCA or CIMA qualification strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in designing and automating financial systems and processes.
  • Strong experience with tax and transfer pricing.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a focus on team development.
