What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and Blood Transfusion, playing a key role in delivering exceptional diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Beckman DXH for Haematology analysis

  • Operating BioRad IH-500 for Blood Transfusion tasks

  • Using Stago systems for Coagulation testing

  • Managing LIMS, including Telepath (with a transition to WinPath in the Autumn)

  • Ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and quality control measures

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care

  • Maintaining high standards in all laboratory procedures

Requirements & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist

  • Haematology experience with Beckman DXH

  • Blood Transfusion experience with BioRad IH-500

  • Coagulation experience using Stago systems

  • Experience with LIMS, particularly Telepath (moving to WinPath)

  • Full-time availability (unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The contract is running until October/November, with the potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
