Job Title: Planned Works Surveyor

Reports to: Principal Surveyor
Salary: Circa 41k
Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to manage a portfolio of properties, overseeing a planned maintenance programme and delivering high-quality surveying and contract management services across the Wiltshire region. This role will involve working on planned maintenance, minor works, refurbishment projects, repairs, and health & safety tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the surveying and contract administration for planned maintenance and major works.
- Conduct surveys on repairs, void properties, and communal areas, ensuring works are completed to standard.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and neighbourhood officers.
- Administer contracts, manage budgets, and ensure expenditure is within limits.
- Monitor health and safety standards, ensuring the wellbeing of customers and contractors.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Construction or Surveying.
- Experience in surveying and contract management, preferably within the social housing sector.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and building maintenance standards.
- Budget management experience (c. 500k).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the local area.
