CMD Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a results-orientated Group sales Director, to join our client's team on the outskirts of Devizes.

With managing up to 50 direct reports, ranging across different brands, you'll be confidently leading the charge in very exciting growth plans for 2025.

Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving significant revenue growth and expanding market share, across a diverse portfolio of brands. This role demands a strategic thinker, with a pragmatic approach to leading and motivating high-performing sales teams and delivering excellent customer service.

About the role:

  • Responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the sales function.
  • Accountable for delivering the company's revenue targets through developing and executing sales strategies, leading the sales teams, and ensuring that sales efforts align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Responsible for the sustainable growth of the business by increasing revenue by 15% year on year.
  • Implement and execute the sales strategy to deliver the company's overall business objectives.
  • Identify and secure new commercial opportunities, including new partnerships, products, markets, and services.
  • Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, providing regular coaching and feedback to ensure objectives are met.
  • Work with the Account Management and Operations teams to implement targeted sales strategy - sales reporting and analytics.
  • Analyse pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the Sales and Marketing teams providing key business insights - typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecasts, and activations to drive the team to success.

Experience & Attributes:

  • Proven experience of sales leadership, ideally with Wholesale and Retail experience.
  • Track record of success in revenue ownership, business expansion, and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate sales teams.
  • Experience with e-commerce & digital sales channels.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and drive innovation in sales strategies.
  • Passionate and positive outlook.
