Job Advert: Building Surveyor
Location: Wiltshire (Housing Association)
Contract: 6-month temporary (37 hours per week)
Rate: 26 per hour Umbrella LTD
Our Housing Client based in Wiltshire is looking for a dedicated and experienced Surveyor to join them as soon as possible on an ongoing temp contrcat. This role involves working within the Maintenance Operations team to deliver high-quality surveying and contract management for planned maintenance and repairs across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out responsive property inspections in customers' homes in Somerset.
  • Independently manage workload using an automated scheduling system.
  • Complete response repair surveys, mutual exchanges, minor works surveys, and investigate damp, condensation, and mould.
  • Oversee minor works, refurbishment projects, and general surveying as required.
  • Work closely with maintenance colleagues to schedule repairs and ensure a high standard of customer service.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
  • Manage health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Relevant qualification in Construction or Surveying.
  • Experience in surveying and contract management within the social housing sector.
  • Strong project management and contract administration skills.
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
