White Horse Employment are proudly partnering with a high-growth services business based in Devizes, supporting their search for a Credit Controller. They are a locally well-known and highly regarded company, with an excellent reputation with both their employees and customers.
This is a broad role, and will involve a wide variety of duties including:
- Managing customer accounts and ensuring prompt payment of invoices.
- Conducting credit checks on new customers and agreeing terms of credit.
- Resolving queries around payments and invoices in a timely manner.
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letter, ensuring timely debt payments and handling disputed bills through negotiation.
- Driving continuous process improvement across the credit control function.
In order to be successful, you must have:
- A robust understanding of credit control processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
