Thrive Group are recruiting for Production Operatives on a temporary ongoing basis, with a view to start immediately.

These positions are located in Devizes.

This is a full-time position working 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 must be able to do all 3 shifts on a rotational basis , Monday to Friday, paying 13.61 per hour. This rises to 14.13 per hour after 12 weeks of work.

Overtime available on Weekends payed at a higher rate.

Responsibilities of the role includes;

  • You will play a vital role in achieving the business goals in the company's Packaging division, which produces corrugated packaging solutions for a range of customers in the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Electronics and Industrial sectors.
  • You will be responsible for the safe operation of machinery to create packaging product for clientele, ensuring efficiencies are maximised and downtime is minimised.
  • You will have set productivity and performance targets to achieve, ensuring that consistent quality standards are met, and you will need to ensure that maintenance and cleaning tasks are carried out correctly, in line with the planned maintenance schedule.
  • You will support and assist with improvement initiatives, as and when they arise.
  • You will be accountable for your own health and the health and safety of others, operating in line with safe systems of work (SSOW) and company procedures, immediately raising any unsafe acts with those concerned and reporting health and safety incidents to management, to ultimately help create a safe working environment for all.

The successful candidate will;

  • Experience working in a production/machine operating environment 2 years+
  • Self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic.
  • Puts safety first.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good Team Player.
  • Quality conscious.
  • Positive approach to multi-skilled working.
  • To be open minded, flexible to challenge and the ability to challenge and be challenged.
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time .
  • Conduct Manual Handling
