Collab Talent Solutions are partnered exclusively with a small Wiltshire based business who are in need of an all-rounder Finance Manager for an initial 6 month contract with possibility of extension or a permanent role. The business is well established in it's niche market and has experienced significant growth in recent years. The team is well tenured and the business prides itself on an inclusive and autonomous culture, where everyone has a voice and micromanagement is unheard of.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be leading the day to day finance operations as well as spearheading process improvements and various automation projects to ensure that the finance department is working efficiently and effectively - something very important due to the recent business growth. You'll be taking charge of management accounts, transactional duties and some credit control too, in a very hands-on SME role.

Why would you be a good fit?

You'll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience leading a small team and working closely with an owner-manager, with recent experience implementing process improvements and leading internal projects. A background in smaller businesses is crucial due to the nature of the role. Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with Sage is preferred.

This role is largely office based, and due to the location you'll probably need to be a driver with your own car, but the business does recognise the benefits of flexible and hybrid working and so you'll be trusted to manage your own diary around the needs of the business.
