Salary
Hourly Rate: 12.26 per hour Annual Salary: Approximately 7,000 (based on term-time hours). Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 11:30 am - 2:00 pm
- 2 hours and 45 minutes per day, 12 hours and 30 minutes per week.
- Term-time only, working 38 weeks per year.

We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our vibrant catering team at our Devizes based Client.
About the Role As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of meal services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving prepared meals to pupils at lunchtime.
- Preparing the food hall for meals and cleaning up after lunch service.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining area.
- Assisting with basic food preparation and catering for meetings as needed.
- Adhering to food safety, health, and safety requirements.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Ideally, you will have:
- A friendly personality with a can-do approach.
- An eye for detail and cleanliness.
- Experience or qualifications in catering (desirable but not essential).
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
Requirements The successful candidate will undergo enhanced DBS, medical, and reference checks. A good level of literacy is essential. Awareness of health and safety standards within a kitchen environment is desirable.
