IMC Group is looking for a skilled Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic echo team in Westbury on a full-time permanent basis. As a Chief Cardiac Physiologist you will be a key leader in our clients clinical team, ensuring adherence to BSE reporting guidelines while providing a safe and welcoming environment for patients. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and support the trainee physiologists, as well as contribute to our clinical audit programme.

Please note that part-time hours may be considered for this role.

What you will do:

· Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.

· Provide expert clinical guidance via our second opinion rota, ensuring adherence to reporting guidelines during peer reviews.

· Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and take necessary actions to ensure operational safety.

· Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs.

· Collaborate with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.

· Assist with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are accurately maintained.

About you:

· Proven experience in performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards.

· BSE accreditation (or equivalent).

· A full UK driving license.

· Comprehensive understanding of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance, and Caldicott Principles.

· An openness to embracing new technologies and practices.

· Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
